The redesigned 18-hole course by Carrick and McBroom opened May 7. By late summer the new heathland holes and oceanfront greens are in their truest playing form.

The new Strait Putting Course — designed by McBroom and Carrick, inspired by St Andrews' Himalayas — is lit for evening play. A natural close to the day.

The Course

A redesigned 18-hole course by Carrick and McBroom.

The 2026 routing combines new heathland-style holes from the future Vineyard Course with the links-style oceanfront holes that opened with the Ocean Course in spring 2025. It is the work of Doug Carrick (Carrick Design) and Tom McBroom (Thomas McBroom Associates) — two of Canada's leading architects, leading Fox Harb'r's multi-year course expansion.

McBroom is a six-time Golf Digest Best New Canadian Course winner. Carrick is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects; his Eagles Nest was named Best New Course in Canada by Golf Magazine in 2006. Both architects share a design lineage that runs through Robbie Robinson back to Stanley Thompson.
